An exciting and interactive new touring exhibition from the Staffordshire Museum Service is coming to the Nicholson Museum & Art Gallery. From work and play to school and times of need, the exhibition explores the lives of children past and present through the museum objects that tell their stories. The exhibition will include items from our own collection and those of the Staffordshire County’s collection.
Running alongside the Museum’s ‘Through the eyes of a Child’ exhibition, there will be story telling and Easter Crafts.
Free but please book your child’s place to avoid disappointment.
Biscuits and juice provided.
The Staffordshire Moorlands Open Art Exhibition is a showcase for the often otherwise unseen talents of local artists.
Artists of all genres are welcome to enter their work by handing it in with the accompanying fee and form at the Nicholson Museum & Art
Gallery on Saturday 27 April.
Open Art is an increasingly popular annual event organised as part of the Leek Arts Festival.
Entry forms are available from Leek Tourist Information Centre.
Now in its tenth year, this exciting exhibition showcases the talent and creativity from the Foundation Degree Students in Creative Art and Design Practice, validated by the University of Derby. The diverse range of work on display shows the high level of professionalism, originality and imagination of the students
and demonstrates their entrepreneurial expertise.
