The Great Get Together

Saturday 17th June

The weekend starts with live music to suit all tastes, a display of vintage vehicles, Moorlands Radio and the very popular Fine Food market.

Sunday 18th June

“Party in the Park” will take place. The big attraction will be the GIANT WATERSLIDE making a welcome return down the natural slopes in the park –  this 100 metre long waterslide (suitable for 7 year olds and above), will take you on a thrilling ride from the top, near the bandstand, to the bottom of the park.

Entertainment will also be provided by Punch & Judy, Buxton Billerettes, Leek Archery, Tribe Dance Academy and Synchronicity. Free face painting, donkey rides and John Collins Funfair in Vicarage Road car park on both days

Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th June 2017

Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th June 2017

The Great Get Together is a national event to pay tribute to the MP Jo Cox who was murdered in June last year and is famously remembered for having said:  “We have more in common than that which divides us”.
