Totally Locally
Totally Locally was created to celebrate the fantastic shops, businesses and people that we have in our local areas.
Totally locally has received national recognition and won awards for the positive affects that it has had on towns across West Yorkshire. It’s now spreading across the country and has arrived in Leek.
Totally Locally aims to keep the authenticity and individuality of any town that wants it’s help. Although it’s slightly eccentric and fun it is backed with a serious message.
Shopping locally is about investing in today to help the people of tomorrow.
If every adult in the UK spent £5 of their weekly spend in their local independent shops & businesses, instead of online or at a big supermarkets, our high street and towns would change dramatically.
The Sunday Supplement (Totally Locally) has a makers market with over 30 stalls of locally produced food and artisan crafts people making jewellery, glassware, original art, photography, cushions, home-ware and loads more – with the independent shops open, cafes, pubs, arts centre, gallery, heritage display it’s going to be a fab day.
