Golf in Leek
Leek has two golf clubs both easily accessible on the edge of town:
Leek Golf Club
The Members of Leek Golf Club welcome all visitors to their club.
Leek Golf Club is one of North Staffordshire’s premier golf courses, situated one mile south of the Queen of the Moorlands town of Leek on the A520.
We offer a good test of golf for all levels of golfers with our tree lined fairways and undulating greens. The views from the course towards the Staffordshire Moorlands are really outstanding.

Westwood Golf Club
Westwood Golf Club is set in rolling Staffordshire countryside on the outskirts of the historic market town of Leek. The picturesque course rises gently from its setting in the beautiful River Churnet valley, with peaceful views across the valley to the wooded hills beyond. The club is only 7 miles from Stoke-on-Trent city centre.
The 18-hole, 6105 yard, par 70 course can be enjoyed by golfers of all ages and abilities. It is sufficiently demanding for the more experienced, but not overwhelming for novices.
Leek Westwood Golf Club is renowned for the warm welcome extended to members, guests and visitors. After a successful round, you can retire to the clubhouse to relax over drinks or a snack, and relive your success in comfortable surroundings.
Founded in 1899, the original 9-hole course was extended to 18 holes in the late 1980s. The original clubhouse was replaced by a magnificent new building in 1992, which houses the Pro Shop, modern changing facilities, bar, lounge and meeting rooms.
